Deeside tackle
Deeside Tackle are our sole distributors of club memberships. Day tickets can also be purchased here. The tackle shop caters for all your fishing needs and the have a comprehensive selection of clothing, seating, shelters, rods, reels, and much more, they can provide you with all the end tackle you could ever need and bait to suit all styles of fishing.

A E Fisheries
A E Fisheries are the clubs go to for all advice relating to fishery management. The club has been working Andrew Ellis for many years and his advice is invaluable. The club uses Andrew and his team annually to carry out the netting and removal of excess stock.

B P Milling
The club has for the last few years been using B P Milling for all of its fishery feed needs. Ben Pinniger has provided us with quality fish feed supplements and the growth of our stock is testament to his work.

Angling Cymru
Angling Cymru is the National Governing Body for recreational angling in Wales. We are recognised by Sport Wales & Welsh Government as the representative body for recreational anglers & angling in Wales.
We have limited resources with just two part-time employees, the Board of Directors are all volunteers. Your support is vital in our work to promote & protect fishing in Wales. Here you can find out more about us, the work we do, how you can get involved & lots of information to get you fishing.

Flintshire Local Voluntary Council
FLVC is the umbrella and support organisation for over 1200 voluntary and community groups based in Flintshire. Through a Welsh Government Infrastructure Agreement, our services include :
Providing information, advice and training regarding governance issues and funding
Developing and sharing effective volunteering services, including placing volunteers, providing training and sharing good practice regarding volunteer recruitment, management and support
Identify learning needs within the Third Sector and organising and delivering training
Identify local issues, representing / reflecting voluntary sector views and concerns to decision makers and influencing local planning
Developing partnerships with voluntary and statutory organisations
Working in collaboration with other agencies to develop projects in response to community needs.

Connah’s Quay Town Council
The Town Council is made up of 20 elected Councillors each representing a particular Ward.
Elections are held every 4 or 5 years.

Proceeds of Crime
Police and Crime Commissioner, North Wales Arfon Jones visits Connah’s Quay and District Angling Club at the Rosie fishing lake, Wepre Park, Connah’s Quay. The club was awarded £2,500 which included cash seized from criminals and Mr Jones dropped by to see how the money is being spent.
The grant was awarded as part Your Community Your Choice initiative is aimed at organisations who pledge to run projects to tackle anti-social behaviour and combat crime and disorder in line with the priorities within the Police Commissioner’s Police and Crime Plan.
