Wepre Park

The Rosie Pool is located within the historic Wepre Park.  Wepre Park consists of 160 acres of Woodland that is looked after by Flintshire Countryside Services.  The park gets thousands of visitors each year and is absolutely stunning in all seasons.

Wepre Park is also home to Ewloe Castle which dates back to the mid 1200s. The castle is roughly a 30/40 minute walk from the main car park and takes you through some fantastic woodland scenery including a stone bridge built in 1800, a waterfall and the locally renowned red rocks (sandstone cliff).

There is also a well equipped children's play area and skateboard park near to the car park and a visitor centre which has plenty of information about the park and surrounding area. There is a cafe within the visitor centre where you can obtain refreshments and Day Tickets to fish.

Just behind the visitor centre you will find the old hall gardens which have recently been restored to their former glory, complete with pet cemetery.

If you are coming to fish the Rosie, or just have a look at the lake, be sure to spend some time exploring this wonderful area of beauty.
